Traffic Flow Challenge puts you in control of a single vehicle on a three-lane highway populated by cars traveling at varying speeds. Your only action is moving left or right into an adjacent lane. Each input is instant, with no steering wheel or acceleration pedal to manage. Keyboard and touchscreen inputs are supported. The goal is to travel as far as possible before hitting another vehicle. There are no power-ups, no checkpoints, and no second chances: one collision ends the run.

How Speed Drives the Difficulty Curve

The game starts at a moderate pace, giving you time to read traffic patterns and get comfortable with lane changes. As your distance increases, your car accelerates automatically, and the gaps between surrounding vehicles become tighter. This gradual ramp-up means early attempts feel relaxed while later runs demand faster decisions. The increasing speed also keeps each session from feeling identical, because the traffic configuration changes and the required reaction time shrinks.

Minimal Controls, Timing-Focused Skill

Because the control scheme is limited to left and right lane changes, the entire challenge rests on timing and observation. You must judge the speed of cars ahead, identify safe gaps, and commit to a lane change before the opening closes. The simplicity makes the game easy to start, but mastering the timing of each switch requires practice. There is no way to slow down or brake, so every decision is final.
